The
beautiful things in your life, be grateful for them, admire them, look
after them but don't be so captured by them you couldn't lay it aside or
give it away if the Lord asked you too. Be free, be in a place of
liberty where anything is this world you can take or leave according to
the direction of the Holy Ghost. Enjoy what you have but be ready to lay
it on the altar if need be.
It is not your holding on that makes it yours but rather in your liberty to let it go, because in that liberty you have gained mastery over it, you are in control.
Don't let there be anything you are hoping the Lord doesn't "take from you" because he doesn't want to take from you he only wants to improve and increase you. Let everything no matter how amazing and how beautiful it is be optional to you.. this world is not your home, your life is not your own, let everything about you be submitted to the Lordship of Jesus including the people and possessions in your life. Give it all to Jesus. "He wants it all"

God gave His only begotten son, which was precious to Him ...and guess what? He got Him back, in a more glorious state than when He gave Him out.
ReplyDeleteAbraham "sacrificed" Isaac ...,.and guess what...He got Him back and Isaac produced the seed that was promised.
When God asks for something He has given you....it means He wants you to learn something new, and demonstrate your trust.
God is the same today...He asks you to release that thing ....not because He wants to take it from you ( afterall He gave you in the first place) ....He wants you to have it back better.
God doesn't waste anything....even the resources He gives to us must not be misused.
Sometimes we do not harness the best of what God has given us and we start asking for another.
He is a perfect God. No mistakes!
